Green Horizon is the premium climate solutions magazine. It was founded by Kira Donegan in early Fall 2025, and officially launched in May 2026. The magazine’s goal is to provide a sense of hope among the clutter of devastating climate changes news. By providing stories of sustainable solutions to this issue, we hope to inspire readers to make a change, or support those who are.

• Fall 2024: Thinking through ideas.

• Spring 2025: Time abroad. Global experience helps to shape the article ideas and intended audience.

• Summer 2025: Brainstorming what outreach and plans for the fall semester would look like.

• Fall 2025: Article drafting, outreach, and spring planning begins.

• Spring 2026: Final edits, magazine and website design are in progress, with a deadline of late April.
